About Us:

Real estate professional Chris Farkas has always been motivated to find the best solutions for any issue.  This drive has made her a successful agent in Whatcom County for a reason.  She focuses all her energy and resources on helping those who have placed their trust in her to succeed.

An Inner Drive
As a child, she was fascinated by riddles, puzzles and problem solving.  That fascination lured her to work at the National Security Agency (NSA), also known as the “Puzzle Palace.”  After several years at NSA, the travel bug kicked in and she decided to see the world.  She enlisted in the Air Force and worked her way up into the officer ranks.  The NSA experience led her to an Air Force career in military intelligence researching the activities of the former Soviet Union.  The G.I. Bill helped her earn a bachelor’s degree in business from Campbell University in North Carolina where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  Chris continued to travel the world to find more places to utilize her analytical talents.  She worked at Credit Suisse in Zurich Switzerland in the bank’s international department specializing in foreign trade financing.  

Family
Chris and her husband Mike have two daughters. Their family enjoys the outdoors and travelling. Chris is an avid runner and you will likely see her running one of the many races in and around Whatcom County.

For the more than seventeen years that Chris and her husband have been married, they have invested in real estate.  Their projects include home renovations, luxury home construction and land development.  Real estate has always been a passion of Chris’ and now she puts that energy and knowledge to work for her clients.  Before you buy, sell or invest in real estate, call Chris.  She is motivated to help you solve your property and housing needs.

As I discussed in the "About Us" section I began my real estate career with a focus primarily on investment properties.  However,  since I have personal experience in all facets of Real Estate including: construction, land development, rental property investing, waterfront, etc., I am able to carry my personal experience over into residential real estate.  I work with buyers, sellers and investors. I have professional relationships with all 3rd party real estate vendors and business associates such as: mortgage lenders, banks, title company's, permitters, architects, geologists, archaeologists, property managers and more.
