I have been in the real estate business since 2002. I started my real estate career in Chicago, where I operated my own brokerage before merging it with a large, national brand. Most of my real estate career has been spent launching new brokerages (during the boom) and repairing struggling brokerages (after the bust). I have the dubious distinction of working in real estate in eleven different markets, which I do not recommend to anyone.

In addition to the brokerage business, I have worked as the personal business coach to small business owners earning $1MM+ per year, written a book about distressed housing, and I regularly teach at industry events.
