About Us:

Mortgages Made Easy, Inc was founded in April 2000.  A carefully planned company.  The founder Andrew T. Clemente spend years in lending operations, sales, and compliance in order to create a solid foundation.  Mr. Clemente firmly believes every customer should be well informed so that the decisions they make are their own confident choices.

Areas of Expertise:

Having worked in this business over 12 years my lending and real estate background is well diversified.  It includes consumer finance with companies such as Transamerica Financial where I eventually became part of a special task force for the west coast to solve pre-forclosures, outsource short-sales, or if need be foreclose.  A desire to accumulate as much Real Estate knowledge as possible lead me to an underwriting career with Washington Mutual's Affordable Lending Division.  I was a National Project Manager / Underwriter and would establish and maintain bond programs with various State and Local Municipalities and Non-Profits.  During the boom between 2001 - 2003 I was one of 10 to establish what would become the number one Operations Division in the Country for both Dollar and Production Units (The Irvine,CA Loan Fulfillent Center).  In 2003 I transfered back into the CRA / Affordable Lending realm for Washington Mutual and became a Project Supervisor and Policy and Communications Writer for the Mortgage Revenue Bond Team.  Accredited to my many tasks was to write the policy manaual for Washington Mutual Bank ("WaMu") as it related to CalHFA. A 300+ page project.  This position gave me the key to witness lending from a whole new perspective as I had to research and work with every facit of the lending community including Origination, Risk, Compliance, Legal, LOS, Servicing, and Third Party (MI, Fannie Mae, Title, Escrow, Municipality, HUD).  Having already pre-set the foundation to start my own company I received my Brokers License in 2000 and took Mortgages Made Easy, Inc full time in 2004.  Wanting to understand the dynamics of the Real Estate Agent I started listing and selling properties.   A foundation of honest business practice with an experienced agent backed by a solid company paves the way to success and satisfied customers.
