I live and work in the Prairie Pointe subdivision of Round Lake. We are actually part of the Valley Lakes area and this is by far the best kept secret in Lake County.  Whe I tell people about the quality of live here they look at me and think...Round Lake.  YES, this is the new Round Lake and our schools are in the Big Hollow district which is truly loved by the community.  And we are done with building and funding the new schools.  No new referendums needed.  In the last 10 years I have helped more then 30 families with their real estate needs.

Terry and I want to belatedly thank you and your team for your great service in helping

us sell our home and buy a new one.

Given the particular difficulties of achieving a normal sale in our old subdivision, your

selling challenge was immense. You knew that the odds of making a commissioned sale

for us were almost nil, yet you persevered and provided us with the full range of your

team's services, plus any personal consultation that we needed. We deeply appreciate

that.

On the sales side, we want to applaud you and your staff for the quality of salespresentation

tools you provided. The good news is that the materials you prepared made

us see the old home we loved in an even better light. The bad news is that those materials

made us regret even more that we were leaving it.

On the buying side, Terry and I want to salute Marilyn Smith. As you know, her patience,

intelligence, and directness made her a perfect fit for us and for our circumstances.

Marilyn fully understood that our reasons for selling our home were unique and that

finding the right home to replace it could be a long, tortured process. And that is exactly

what it turned out to be. Yet Marilyn was always willing to show us more and more

homes. Although it made her job harder, Marilyn also consistently turned us away from

homes that she recognized as bad fits for us. We should add that sharing so much time

with Marilyn was a joy. She has a grace and charm that made it easy for us to spend those

many hours with her.
