I was born and raised on Oahu, the older of two children of a first generation immigrant family. I grew up knowing the meaning of "hard work" and "service to others." I reside in Mililani, Hawaii.
I first joined the Hawaii's real estate industry in 1990 as a commercial Real Estate Sales Person and Residential Mortgage Loan Officer in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1995, during the challenging real estate market and with the strong desire to remain in the industry, I began working in the Title Insurance and Escrow segment as an Escrow Assistant and then quickly promoted in 1997 as an Escrow Officer with Title Guaranty Escrow Services, Inc. and Old Republic Title and Escrow of Hawaii, Inc. In July 2003, I became an Escrow Branch Manager for Island Title Corporation, a position I held until March 2011 when Island Title was acquired by First American Title Insurance Company of Hawaii, Inc. After a brief stay as Senior Escrow Officer at the newly merged firms Kapiolani office, I moved to Fidelity National Title & Escrow of Hawaii, Inc. in August of 2011, where I am Assistant Vice-President and Escrow Officer.
My foremost belief is to "provide and meet the highest possible customer service standards for you, your clients and your company." and that my primary goal is to make transactions as smooth as possible. I want to complement your transaction not complicate it.
Going on 16 years in the Escrow Industry, I am known to place emphasis on service first by being timely and detail oriented. I provide you and your clients open lines of communication, and give personal attention to every transaction and will go the extra mile for all clients regardless price, area or transaction type.

Rommel helped me pull through a very challenging escrow cancellation on my listing at 91-1495 Noelo St in Ewa Beach. The seller questioned the cancellation process and Rommel dealt with him in a very prompt, professional and detailed manner. The seller is a very visual and organized person and wanted answers to his questions addressed immediately. Rommel addressed the questions put forth in a very timely manner.The seller was satisfied with Rommel's responses and we were able to proceed with the cancellation without further incident. The property eventually closed and we again used Rommel's expertise and guidance. I also get excellent support from his staff.
When I think of Title and Escrow, I always think Rommel Guzman, Island Title Kapolei...My escrows are on auto pilot with Rommel and his staff....
