Can a real estate agent be professional and still have fun with customers?  Of course, they can!  I love my profession because I love helping people achieve their goals.  I may not be able to help them find the perfect mate, or the perfect job (although I will try if they ask), or the perfect suit, but I can find them the perfect home.  My responsibility to those who chose to hire me is to get them what they want, whether it's the best price for their current home or the new home that fits their exact needs.  The whole process of buying or selling real estate can sometimes be frustrating and confusing.  Part of my job is to handle those moments professionally and positively.  And if there is humor in something, bring it out!  If there is no humor, then bring it in.  Laughter is a great stress reliever and creates a bond between those sharing the laughter.  Satisfied (and some not so satisfied) clients have said how much they appreciate my patience, persistence, professionalism, and that they had fun with me.  Of course, the key is to listen to what the people have to say, understand their needs, understand their motivation, and their sense of humor.  As soon as you are clear on what they want and who they are, you have a loyal client and possibly a new friend.

The things I do best are the things that I love.  Because I love gardening and interior design, my expertise lies in advising sellers how to make their resale home as appealing to buyers as possible.  On the other side, I can help buyers see the potential in a home that would work for them but needs a little personalization.  The City of Shoreline is filled with homes built between 1940 and 1970.  That's why I love living and offering my real estate expertise here.  There is so much potential in these older homes.  And, typically the lots are large enough to add more square feet if they are needed.  It's exciting to see one of these homes get new owners.  Because before you know it, they have redone the 50 year-old landscaping, put in new windows, painted it a fresh new color, refinished the hardwood floors, and bingo! their home has increased in value.  And, they have started a rejuvination on their street.  In a nutshell, my expertise is the homes of Shoreline's neighborhoods - Richmond Beach (yes, there are waterfront and water view homes in Shoreline), Innis Arden, Richmond Highlands, Hillwood, Echo Lake, North City, Ridgecrest, Briarcrest, Parkwood, Meridian Park, Westminster Triangle, and Highland Terrace.  There is also a very exclusive neighborbhood called The Highlands.  Home prices start at or over a $1M.
