I graduated from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. I have seven years of experience in the financial industry.
After graduation, the first three years of my career were spent in manufacturing management. I then became a Branch Manager for American General Finance. My next position was at Fifth Third Bank as a Mortgage Originator. Most recently, I was a Mortgage Originator for J. P. Morgan Chase.
In the summer of 2007, I was given the opportunity to work at Hallmark with my father, John Gaier, to form The Gaier Team. I believe working together as equal team members makes us unique in the marketplace. I work on everything from first-time homebuyers to FHA loans to VA loans and everything in between.
I love spending time with my wife Stephanie, my son, Eli, who was born February 2009, and our two small Yorkies, Fletcher and Oliver. We enjoy golf, wine tasting, tennis and Bible study.
I am an Eagle Scout and an Evans Scholars Alumnus. I received a full tuition four year golf caddie scholarship that I earned partly by caddying in High School at Greenhurst Country Club in Auburn (now Bridgewater) and at Fort Wayne Country Club. Hallmark Home Mortgage allows me to have Processing, Underwriting, and Closing all in my office which is a HUGE advantage! Hallmark currently has over 1,450 years of industry experience with 80 employees in 8 locations. Hallmark Home Mortgage's Sales & Operations Management is made up of many former Waterfield Mortgage employees including many of the former department heads.
