Nathaniel ("Nate") is a Broker Associate with McGuire Real Estate in Mill Valley representing both buyers and sellers throughout Marin. Having been through the relocation process himself, he understands how difficult moving can be. Over the past 14 years, he has worked towards finding a win-win situation for clients by negotiating each deal point thoroughly. His main focus is building relationships with his clients and understanding their different needs.
Nate is married with three children, enjoys outdoor activities with the kids, traveling around the state to historical sites, and has a passion for anything mechanical (“planes, trains, and automobiles”). He likes to problem solve and enjoys getting involved with local issues. He enjoys giving his time to causes that he is passionate about.
Nate has been in real estate since 1995 after graduating from James Madison University with a BBA in Finance. He has completed over $350 million in commercial and residential transactions. During the mid 1990’s, he was fortunate enough to work on a team that handled both the disposition of distressed RTC assets and acquisitions of sub-performing loan portfolios allowing him first hand experience with asset repositioning and work-outs in a down market. Over the years handling different levels re-structuring, he has dealt with various lenders and loan servicing entities including Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan/Chase, GMACrescap, National City, Indymac Bank, Saxon Servicing, ORIX servicing, and AMRESCO servicing.
