Our National Lender's Division which serves 49 US states also services the local Sacramento County area of CA.  We can process all counties in CA in regard to refinance transactions.  

I have been in this "business" since 1981.  I have served as a Loan Officer & Lender, Branch Manager, Real Estate Agent, Title Officer & Examiner/Searcher, Escrow Officer, Customer Service Manager, Sales Representative & Account Executive, etc.  I have worked at six different Title companies and with several other related agencies.  Therefore, I have a very good working knowledge of various practices & procedures within this industry.

One Stop Shop

In general, mortgage companies, lenders, Independent Escrow companies, and even Title companies have to shop around and find someone to service their "out of county" and/or "out of state" needs. This division is designed to be a "one stop shop."  We can even provide Title product and other necessary services in the "Attorney states" (GA for example), CRESPA states (VA), and LPO (limited practice officer) state (WA).  The only state I choose not to service is NM.  We have a network of resources all over the US and personnel contacts that have local knowledge in every area of the United States.  Feel free to use us as another resource; it's a good business decision.

Insured ownership is at the heart of every transaction. We work to remove any recorded encumbrances which are inconsistent with the terms of the transaction. We offer traditional, fully-insured products like ALTA policies, as well as innovative products and insurance policies in the refinance, second mortgage and equity markets. Escrow Services

The careful management of assets ensures a smooth transaction. We coordinate and process the entire real estate and mortgage closing procedure. Our services include: document gathering, HUD-1 preparation, loan funds disbursement, escrow withholding and document recording with the appropriate government authority - all done in accordance with our clients' instructions.

We serve as a neutral third party working to benefit the entire transaction and the parties involved. Our escrow personnel are proficient at complying with complicated escrow instructions.

Ordering Preliminary Reports & Commitments

Ordering Title and Escrow

Just simply e-mail me your order sheet (or I can provide you with one), and I'll respond with our order number verifying your transaction has been opened.  Fee quotes will be sent to you as quickly as possible for each transaction.

On-Line Ordering

We also offer on-line ordering if you are interested in that service.  It generally only takes a couple of minutes and you automatically receive an open order number in that e-mail confirming the search & Title report is in progress.  Just call or e-mail me if you wish to set this up.  It only takes about 10 minutes to get you set up on-line.  This feature is excellent if your people are going to open a large volume of orders, or if it's after normal business hours and you wish to get your order processed asap!  The Preliminary Title reports & commitments are opened immediately regardless of what time they are opened & can be opened from any computer anywhere!  I wish I had that option when I was a Loan Officer & Real Estate Agent!

Calyx POINT Integration

For lenders who have standardized on Calyx POINT as your loan origination software, you can order title and escrow products within six clicks of your mouse directly from the POINT application!

For many lenders, opening an order for title and/or escrow products can be inconvenient. Traditional methods include phone calls, faxes or even re-keying the order information into a company's website. Each of these methods is time consuming and subject to errors.

With Old Republic's "ORpoint" software you can simply place an order for title and escrow directly from within the "borrower information" in POINT!! Your software allows you to electronically transfer the relevant customer information to our order form - within six clicks of your mouse!

Using the ORpoint software yields many customer benefits including:

  • Improved efficiency - Enter borrower information one time into POINT - the same customer data transfers directly to Old Republic for the title and escrow order.
  • Save time - No more faxes, no more voicemails to escrow officers, no more time spent re-keying information; customer data flows seamlessly to Old Republic. Order title and escrow within six clicks of a mouse!!
  • Lower cost per order - Improved efficiencies lowers your cost per transaction.
