Description: It is my pleasure to provide real estate practitioners with contemporary solutions to marketing, branding, technology and everyday issues to make their real estate career more roust and pleasurable.

My Rant:

A more elegant, more sophisticated level of service is required of today's real estate practitioners. This service delivery requires agents to distinguish themselves through personal branding and marketing. This marketing must be relevant to the consumer audience to which it is directed (as opposed to simply telling how "great" the agent is).

Part of the agents' value is derived from the translation of the overload of real estate information readily available (the accuracy of which is another story). This information is delivered to consumers from a number of sources, including the webistes and e-mail solicitations of "interlopers" looking to attract consumers away from (or get "in front of") the agents (and then sell the client leads back to the agents). Providing the "what does this information mean to you" to sellers and buyers will allow these clients to make correct marketing and buying decisions and will turn these clients into advocates for the agents.

Keeping in contact with agents' "A" contacts (those persons who have given the agent a referral, or will likely give a referral in the future) is another contemporary practitioner daily activity requirement. Having in place the systems, and executing on them consistently, will result in the agent having a robust, enjoyable and profitable career.
