Areas of Expertise

My areas of expertise is primarily in residential real estate in the areas of condos, single family homes, acreages, land sales and vacation properties. However I do practice some commercial real estate in the form of apartment blocks and condo conversions. If you are looking for a realtor that covers farms and business I would have to put you in touch with one of my colleagues that knows these areas a lot better than I. I think it is best to stick to what you know and look after your clients interests & not your own. In terms of the areas I cover, I practice in the Calgary metropolitan area and the smaller centers such as Airdrie, Cochrane, and Okotoks. I also have access to the Canmore listings through our MLS system and have been known to show properties in this area as I know it well. Whatever your real estate needs may be I would be glad to assist if I can. If I can't I will be honest and point you in the right direction.

While living in BC we became interested in purchasing real estate in Saskatoon. We found a great real estate web site and entered in our criteria. Within a short time frame we received an email from Nevin Van Nest of Royal LePage. We arranged a weekend trip to see the city and to our surprise Nevin had lined up numerous properties for us to view, spent the day showing us around Saskatoon, informed us of which areas met our requirements, and answered our millions of questions. We were extremely impressed that he would put so much effort into our search without knowing if we would actually decide to relocate.

Nevin kept in contact when we went back to BC keeping us apprised to the housing market and providing us with tons of information. We have never used a realtor that listened to every detail of our requirements and showed us only the houses that met those needs until we worked with Nevin. Most impressive though was the fact that he provided every service that he said he would and a lot more. Our list of criteria may have been lengthy but he always assured us that it was no problem.
