About Me:

Prior to becoming a Realtor, I was in the home renovation business.  Having bought & sold many homes during my renovating years, I learned quite quickly what buyers and sellers need from their Realtor...and sadly, I often found that those needs weren't being met.  So, having learned firsthand what makes a great Realtor...and what doesn't, I decided to pursue my real estate license.  Since becoming a full-time Realtor in 2001, I've been busy helping buyers & sellers with all their real estate needs, and believe that they truly benefit from the experience, commitment, and integrity that I exhibit throughout every sale and purchase of a home that I assist with.

Areas of Expertise

I have a considerable amount of experience related to home renovations including foreclosure & tax sale acquisitions, project management & planning, budgeting, contractor supervision, decorating, staging, marketing, and the many other aspects of being a successful home renovator. 

Now that I sell real estate full time (while managing to renovate homes occasionally), I find that my interest in homes has increased even further.  I enjoy finding the right home for every individual and every family.  A home is where you hang your hat, and where you love your friends & family....and I when I get to play a part in making "that house" a home, well...nothing gives me a greater sense of accomplishment. 

To assure people that I work with that I am devoted to this profession, I continually further my education.   Prior to becoming a Realtor, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University (Education), and since becoming a Realtor, I have obtained my GRI designation (Graduate of the Realtor Institute), my ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), and my E-PRO designation (Real Estate Internet Professional).  I am currently pursuing my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation and anticipate having that completed within the next year.
