I am 23 years old and worked here at ActiveRain since the beginning of June of 2007 to August 2008. I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in May of 2007 with a BA in Communication and Theatre. I was born in Bemidji, Minnesota, but moved to Seattle, Washington when I was only 3.

I am writer and currently do some free-lancing. I am also a writer and write Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels. I am going back to school at the end of June 2008 to get another degree in Geology. I will still be working for ActiveRain and be a part-time student. I plan on getting my Bachelor of Science in Geoscience and my Masters in Volcanology and then get my Ph.D. Life is way too short to not do the things you love.

I took the photo to the right on a road trip from Tacoma, WA to San Francisco, CA. This is a photo of Mt. Shasta, taken in a car going 60 MPH, through glass. It is copywrited to me.
