- I am a Southern California transplant, having made Colorado my home since November 2003. I love working now as a real estate broker in Montrose and living in Ridgway, Ouray County.
About Ninah
I am a retired divorce and family law attorney from California, where I grew up in San Diego County. I fell in love with the Western Slope of Colorado during my first visit in the summer of 2002. I decided it would a great place to invest in real estate and later to retire. Not long after returning to California, I decided to "retire" sooner rather than later. So, I sold my house and my law practice and moved to Colorado in the fall of 2003.
I promptly obtained my Colorado real estate license and began working in my new career in February, 2004. I started with a company in Montrose, then moved to another company in Ridgway to gain more knowledge and experience in the Ouray County real estate market. From October 2006 through September 2010, I owned and managed a Century 21 franchised office in Montrose. For business reasons, I closed that office in October, 2010 and joined the relatively new Keller Williams office in Montrose, with a satellite office in Ridgway.
I'm very pleased with the new direction I've taken in my real estate career, which I continue to enjoy despite the recent economic challenges over the past several years. I also enjoy life on the Colorado Western Slope and all that it offers, including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, and Jeeping. My other activies include music, theatrical arts, photography and travel. I live in Ridgway, Ouray County, with my life partner, 2 horses, 2 Airedale dogs, and 2 cats.
