One year ago my fiancé and I started our search for our first home together. We enlisted the help of a close family friend as our real estate agent and in no time were putting a bid on a home. Since we had not obtained a pre-approval for a mortgage, my real estate agent referred me to Gerald Santoro from First Choice Bank. Although we did not know much about First Choice Bank or Gerry, we put our faith in our real estate’s referral and obtained a pre-approval from Gerry.
I am very thankful that my real estate agent referred Gerry because over the past year that I have worked with Gerald to obtain a pre-approval and mortgage, he has been wonderful. As someone who has worked in customer service for over ten years, I am quite hard to please; I require someone to be professional, responsive and knowledgeable; Gerry has displayed all of those qualities and more. In addition to Gerry being knowledgeable, responsive and professional, he is also personable, has a sense of urgency that helped me reach some very unrealistic deadlines throughout my home buying journey and was even able to refer an agency to obtain homeowner’s insurance because I was having quite a bit of difficulty finding homeowner’s insurance on a property located close to the water.
Although I have not yet purchased a home and my home buying journey is on hold while I plan my wedding when the time is right and I am back in the market for a home, I will absolutely enlist the help of Gerry again. I know that I can count on and trust Gerry and for me that is important.
