We met Matt through a friend of ours sometime in 2008 and immediately felt comfortable with him in regards to discussing our real estate requirements. On our first trip down to Scottsdale to look at some properties, we were all gung-ho on purchasing a property on a golf course and renting it out on monthly or weekly basis. Matt patiently took us to look at many properties, all over Scottsdale, not once pressuring us in either direction but rather giving us the pros and cons to think about so that we could make an informed decision. The more Matt got to know us, the more he realized that we were not going to be able to use a place in Scottsdale very often personally as we were quite busy in Calgary with work and our kids. We all came to the conclusion that really what we were looking for was an investment property that didn’t give us very much administrative work in regards to rental income. We ended up purchasing a property in downtown Scottsdale that is rented full-time and which has caused us minimal administrative work from our perspective. We are very happy with the investment so far. 

During the purchase Matt was very helpful in all aspects of the closing and gave us good ideas on how to save money throughout the entire process. We also noticed that the selling realtor was very impressed with Matt’s professional demeanor and we think that assisted us in getting our price reduced as we requested. -Corey Zahn
