About Us:

I am a commercial mortgage broker: I help get financing for commercial, not residential, projects and buildings, from construction loans to miniperms to bridge loans, mezzanine loans, portfolio loans to conduits, as appropriate.  I have access to many sources of money, and I specialize in getting financing for properties with a story behind it.  Not all lenders will look at those, but I try to get financing that works for every deal that I get: and my compensation is contingent upon that.  In addition to being licensed by the Department of Real Estate, I am also a member of the State Bar of California (in other words, I am an attorney, but I am not YOUR attorney), and a Realtor (although I do not actively list and sell properties).  I am used to thinking about projects from the owner's perspective, and I can use that to make a case to lenders.  I will happily work with you if you've been turned down by your bank: I have other sources of loans that might work for your situation.  Check out my weblog, especially the post called Introduction for more details.

Areas of Expertise

I work in Southern California, and like to meet people at their building (or near their proposed building) so I can sell the loan better to prospective lenders.  I am quite good at small commercial loans (loans from $100,000 to under 10 million), and look forward to closing most of them with relative ease.  Larger loans are available, and putting together the levels of financing to close them requires some flexibility, and I can do that as well: but I don't do it as often.  I work with refinancing, acquisition, and construction loans both for those new to the market and experienced owners. I am able to arrange small commercial loans in every state of the United States except for Arizona, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Florida, North Dakota and South Dakota: and even in those states I have access to local brokers who can arrange financing.
