Description
Chooseing Windermere as a brokerage has allowed me to continue practicing business ethics I already felt strongly about: each customer is important and unique, and he should be made to feel that way.

WHY I LOVE CHELAN!
On my first visit to Lake Chelan, I was enthralled with the natural beauty and lifestyle of this valley. Here was this beautiful, clear lake with a warm climate at one end, but 55 miles uplake you were surrounded by mountain peaks and glaciers! And then there was the fresh fruit. For a guy who grew up in the Midwest, where the only fruit trees are crab apples, it was pretty impressive being able to pick Bing cherries from a tree in the front yard! They tasted like no cherries I'd ever had! My wife shares my feelings for this valley. She's originally from Chelan; in fact her family counts back three generations of living here. She told me it always felt like coming back to paradise. So, we soon followed the lure of Lake Chelan and moved here in 1981.
CHELAN IS A FAMILY PLACE
What a great place Chelan has been to raise our three kids! Living by a lake...that must be every kid's dream. In the summertime we'd nickname our son "Huck Finn", and to be honest he did take on the look ... suntan, freckles, faded torn clothes, with a spirit of adventure in his eyes. Diving for treasure into the depths of Lake Chelan, wearing a new snorkel mask from the dime store. Life just doesn't get much better than that! From hunts for sunken treasurer, we moved on to mountain biking, hiking and camping. And as the kids have grown up, we've added golfing and snow skiing to our list of family fun.
THE LURE OF THE LAKE
Boats and water have always held an appeal for me, my wife tells me it's my Norwegian heritage, so it came as no surprise when we began a business doing marine fabricating and upholstery. This has been an ongoing concern for some 24 years. Over these many years as a business owner in Chelan, clients who've walked through my door have come to learn the principles I stand for: fair, honest dealings and going the extra mile for my customer. It's not easy building up a reputation like that, especially with today's business climate, but it's something I'm proud of, and it gives a sense of satisfaction to be able to offer that same level of trust to my clients at Windermere.
