One Pretty House Interiors is a full service decorating company offering interior decorating, One Day Redesign, real estate staging/move-in services and professional shopping in the DC Metro area.

About Us:

My first interior decorating job consisted of painting a room "Pepto" pink, rearranging furniture and adding ivory bed linens with coordinating floral window treatments. It was my bedroom and I was 12. This rather pink beginning was where my love of decorating began. A few years later, I would include designer fabrics in my redesign; painting the room sapphire blue, with Laura Ashley bed linens and wall paper border.

Through 15 years in the housing industry, as I collaborated with homebuilders, and consulted with designers and real estate professionals in my job, my love of decorating deepened. With each friend who sought my creative touch to enhance their home, the desire to use my talents blossomed. Working with me, friends fell in love with their homes all over again and found a haven.

In 2007, I created One Pretty House Interiors from the passion to help turn houses into homes, and homes into sanctuaries from the craziness of a busy life. I am a certified Interior Refiner and have trained with the renowned Queen of Decorating, Jo Anne Lenart-Weary. I am also a certified Interior Redesigner and One Day Staging and Decorating Professional.
