Michèle Cauley is a certified stager and a member of the Real Estate Staging Association.  She has been working with licensed realtors and home owners for over eight (8) years.  She has worked with clients both buying and selling homes.  Having lived through the experience of selling her own home a number of times and having worked on the sales side, Michèle understands the experience from all perspectives. Selling a house and moving is an extremely stressful time.  Michele helped me to focus and organize.  I asked her to come in and assess what needed to be done in our house in order to stage it.  She spent a good 2 hours going over each room and making detailed lists of what things should go, stay, be moved and be repaired in each room.  She did the same outside the house -- front, back and sides.  She took pictures and drew floor plans for room layouts for staging.  She went over the 7 page report with me.  After she left, it made packing a lot easier.  I knew what to pack and what to leave.  I knew what to paint.  It took the guesswork out of a lot the process which in turn freed me up to focus on other things.  Michele was always available to answer questions via phone or email.  She answered promptly and clearly.  I felt like she was there to support me and help me as much or as little as I wished.  She works from sound principles and I trust her advice.  I would highly recommend Michele to anyone who is thinking of staging their home in order to sell it quickly.
