I have worked in the mortgage industry for twelve years now. 7 of those years was as a supervisor with a wholesale lender. Working on "the inside" has given me an enormous amount of knowledge of the industry. Anyone can take an application, in this business you have to be ahead of changes, informed about lenders guidelines, flexible enough to change as the customers needs and wants change and you have to have a great ability to use all your resources to make sure everything goes smoothly. I've got this mixture and I love to be successful and make things happen. What always helped me is my drive to keep the lines of communication open and get people to work together. I moved to retail mortgages 2 years ago after moving back to Vermont with my husband. Why did I choose SB Mortgage? Because the owners were the very best loan officers I worked with when I was in wholesale. You know the type, the ones that have it all together, they followed their loans from beginning to end, they were completely informed about their clients and their situations and worked each one like a priority. They also didn't fall off the face of the earth after they got their check, even after closing they were more than happy to help (trust me this was rare) They were stand up individuals and I wanted to work with them, it was a very good decision. They are forward thinking, technology obsessed, and no matter how big they get they're right there for me and all their loan officers. It all just seems to fit, the job, the state, our new family (we have the cutest 2 yr old daughter) things are good. I just wish there was more time for sleep!!
