Meet Pam:
I grew up in the DeKalb County area of Atlanta and moved to North Georgia over 30 years ago. I liked Atlanta, and I still have family there, but the traffic was just too much! North Georgia offers a slower pace and quiet lifestyle and I like that.
I earned my Georgia real estate license in July 2003 after many years in the banking business. I started my financial career in the late 80's in a credit union on a part time basis. I went full time after a very short time, and later went on to several different banks. 15 years later and after working up to the vice president level, I wanted to try something different, but something I already had the background for. I had handled a lot of real estate during my banking days, just from the financing standpoint rather than the purchase and sale side.
I took the real estate course online and studied during my lunch hours. After a couple of months I was ready to take the license exam - I went to Atlanta for the test and aced it with a score of 92!!! Needles to say, I was very happy, but also anxious about going to a "commission only" job. It's hard at times, but worth it if you want to work for yourself.

I work with both buyers and sellers, and I have assisted a number of out-of-state clients in relocating here. I have an e-Pro designation and I am very proficient in using technology and the Internet in real estate transactions. I have a financial background, so I can recommend reputable lenders to you and help you in the mortgage loan process.
