Sheryl was invaluable when I sold my Mt. Washington Condo and moved into a 4 bedroom in the suburbs. She did such a marvelous job at making the pictures and marketing materials that we were overwhelmed with appointments to show it in just the first few days. The condo was sold so quickly that it caught me off guard. I had never expected the property to sell in just 2 weeks. After we accepted the buyer's offer (very close to the asking price) Sheryl immediately set out to help me find a new home. Now she really had some work to do! I had no idea what or where I wanted to buy. At my request, she began showing me some lovely older homes in Mt. Washington, but I was being picky and with each of them something wasn't quite right. We then looked at a few townhouses in the suburbs, but again to no avail. Sheryl took the time with me and urged me not to settle until I found just what I wanted (even though I wasn't exactly sure what that was).Almost every evening for several weeks she would find 2 or 3 properties to show me as my understanding of my desires evolved. I felt terrible making her work so hard due to my uncertainty. She had the patience of a saint and kept going until I found a beautiful 4 bedroom house with hardwood throughout that was just right for me and well within budget. Over the years I have bought and sold more than a few properties. I have never before had such a wonderful experience with a real estate agent. From the first meeting through both negotiations and through the daunting task of finding a new home that was to my liking, Sheryl never failed to exceed my expectations. Sheryl was such a huge asset to us when we relocated to the Pittsburgh area from Austin, TX. She was a great communicator by phone and email. She really listened and seemed to grasp exactly what we were looking for in a new home. Before our actual move date, she emailed us specific listings meeting our criteria for our review. We had a very small window in which to find a home and close, so looking at so many listings in advance was very helpful. We were able to narrow it down to about 8-10 homes and she previewed them all before we arrived in Pittsburgh. She helped us refine that list based on what she had observed in person at each home. The first day we went out with Sheryl after moving into temporary housing here, she took us to the house that was at the top of our list first. It was perfect!
