 I believe everyone has a natural inclination to want to grow their own food, to want to create their own natural beauty and to want to share that food and beauty with their community. 

My passion for gardening can help sell your home, even if you have little or no interest in gardening.  I have found creating a small organic garden or adding a couple of small trees to front of a yard or just accentuating the setting of your home can create interest and bring buyers.

I encourage my buyers to at least pursue gardening and I will give them all the help they wish.  I start hundreds of plants every winter and share with my clients, neighbors and friends.

I help my  home buyers learn to garden.  I give them tips, resources and continual encouragement.

I was raised on an organic farm in North Idaho.  I met my wife of 38 years at North Idaho College and we raised our children on a small organic farm in Woodinville Washington near Seattle.  I also had the opportunity to teach for over 30 years as I farmed.  As Lexington's Green Thumb Realtor Consultant I am blessed to be able to use my background to help clients gain an greater understanding of the value of gardening.

I am  continually learning all I can to serve my clients electronically.  I recently completed the e-pro certification course.

My wife Kathy and I  relocated to Lexington Kentucky 16 months ago. We are so excited to be on a new adventure.  Building relationships in our community is our first priorty.  We were fortunate to purchase a home in the Gainesway subdivision and the sellers were gracious enough to accept a two week closing date.  Knowing where we are settling gives us a sense of beginning to establish some roots.  We have always lived near my workplace and had a huge garden.  It is my goal to help buyers in Lexington find a home near their workplace and I am beginning to learn all I can about gardening in this microclimate.

I am passionate about caring for my community.  I believe building strong, lasting lifelong relationships is what is brings joy and value to my life and the lives of the people of which I live, work, and play.  I have experience the deep joy of celebrating life with friends, the deep sorrow of losing a beloved community member and the deep peace that comes in times of sorrow and joy knowing that there are family and friends in my community that care more about people than they do things.
