Some of the other things I do

I am an actor/vocalist; on stage and in commercials like Rogers network 'stadium' commercial and appearing in APTN network series 'Blackstone'.

I am often cast in period 'Murder Mysteries' singing as a thirties Moll, an aristocratic WWII Baroness, Mrs. Claus or various other fun and fantastic characters.

One of the most fun jobs I have is making balloon animals and face painting for children oriented events. Whether it's a birthday, company picnic or a christmas event there is always a lot of fun and laughter. It's a party; what's not to like?

I also work for the University of Alberta as a Standardized Patient and Standardized Patient trainer. Standardized patients are actors who are given roles (symptoms and histories) to be interviewed by medical, physio therapy, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing students. The SP program is a very valuable learning tool for all of these faculties as each student has a safe environment to practice interviewing, diagnosing and patient examining techniques. The SP program is also working with Grant MacEwan and NAIT sending patients to their X-ray, EMS and nursing faculties.

I also design and sew costumes and clothing, which comes in handy when I'm staging if I can't find just the right thing I can sew it!

I have competed in Martial Arts Tournaments. 

I have taken ice racing courses in 2009 and 2010 which helps on our winter roads.

 That was so much fun we joined the summer auto cross club and started racing in that!
