About Us:
I have been in the business for 8 years. I have successfully represented many buyers and sellers in the Frederick, Washington, and Montgomery Counties in Maryland over the last 8 years making their transaction as painless and seamless as possible. I have had buyers from my first year come back to me to sell their house and move up to a larger one. I believe in personal service to my clients. I answer my cell phone when I am not with clients. I believe that the purchase or sale of your home is huge and that you deserve my full attention when we are together so I do not answer my cell phone when I am with clients. I will return all messages before the end of the day.
I am a member of the Frederick County Association of Realtors (FCAR), Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and I am on the FCAR Education Committee. I was recently elected President-Elect to the local chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS. I am a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and am committed to helping those who are in trouble to stay in their homes. If that is not possible, then to help them facilitate a short sale.
I am also on the Education and Affordable Housing Committees for the Frederick County Association of REALTORS.
I am a proud mother and Grandmother. I have been a Red Cross Volunteer for the last 10 years, certified in CPR/AED and standard First Aid. I have recently been elected to the Board of Directors for the Frederick County Chapter of the American Red Cross. I am also a Disaster Action Team member and have been for at least 7 years.
I have done extensive Volunteer work in the past 20 years including, Board of Directors of Frederick Babe Ruth Baseball League, Board of Directiors and Softball Coach, East Frederick Little League, Member Frederick High Boosters, Board of Directors South Frederick Elementary School PTA, Board of Directors American Consulate Ladies Club, Frankfurt, Germany, Girl Scout Leader, Frankfurt Germany, Board of Directors Community Support Association.
Areas of Expertise
Sellers in the Frederick County MD market who are in distress need help, and I am there to help them. I also have worked with many first time home buyers. I hold first time home buyer seminars either for groups or one on one. (This seminar/consultation is also good for someone who hasn't bought or sold a home in the recent past) I go through the home buying process step by step from getting pre- approved for the loan through picking out a home, writing the offer, negotiating the transaction , the home inspection, the final walk through to Settlement. This way the buyer knows what to expect before starting the process. I have also taught the Credit Smart class with the Frederick Community Action Agency to first time home Buyers.
I am now working closely with seniors who are looking to down size. With these special clients I have a CPA, a Financial Planner and a Transition coordinator who can meet with the client and make sure that the sale of their home is in their best interest. A Transition coordinator can really help with the work that needs to be done to reduce the amount of things that need to be moved and will also help with placement of furniture at the new place. They are especially good when family is not readily available to help with all that needs to be done.
I can also help with the paring down of household goods and can refer the client to painters and service persons who can help get the house in top condition for sale at top dollar. It can be a slow process but it is definitely worth the time and effort.
My geographical areas to work in are Frederick County, Washington County and Montgomery County Maryland.
