We try to create a feeling of home within our company. We think that helps our agents become more effective in what they do. We also believe that building community and adding value in order to compliment, enhance and strengthen the surrounding area is of the utmost importance. Our close knit, family owned business takes that idea to heart.
For us, a home sale is more than a transaction. We are building relationships by bridging the gap between the builder and the buyer. Our goal is to build communities by selling homes, not houses. A home is more than sticks and bricks. A home is where life happens. Home is where children grow up, where 80th birthday parties are celebrated , where families find comfort and security. Peggy Slappey Properties understands this.
Our agents qualify potential homebuyers through an interview process to determine if the home and community fit the needs of their family, not simply whether or not they can afford the house. Trust and confidence are the result, from both the homebuyer and the builder. We believe this philosophy offers the buyer and the seller more security ensuring satisfied clients.
The idea of building community is also apparent in our industry. Peggy Slappey Properties has an outstanding reputation in the real estate community. We work hard to maintain and continually improve our reputation by going the extra mile with the co-op agents we work with. We honor agents by earning their trust and confidence and demonstrating our competence. The home buying process is a team effort and when a co-op agent is involved, we go out of our way to enable them in any way we can.
After twenty five years in business, the basic principle behind Peggy Slappey Properties has remained the same, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Oliver and I would like to personally say "Thank You" for your professionalism and help during the process of purchasing our new home. You managed to keep us updated weekly on changes that were taking place at the property/subdivision, as well as the changes that were going on in the current market (down payment assistance going away as of 10/1/08). Whether it was by email or a telephone call, you were always accessible and made us feel as though we were a top priority. From our very first visit we knew we wanted to make Barringer Park our new home, and you helped make that possible. Thank you again for all your help.

Just to let you know incase you didn't know, you are a wonderful agent. You represent your Broker and Company well. You are a very professional person, I would love to co-op with you at any time. My client(buyers) and myself were quite impressed. Your responses to our phone calls were prompt , and you always knew the answer, you knew your products(the homes). Thank you very much. Keep up the good work.
The professionals at PSP and Bryce Homes made our new home purchase both a comfortable and pleasurable experience. Their knowledgeable staffs were accommodating and personable throughout the entire experience. It helped put the excitement into buying a new home.

Denine Rives is probably the main reason why I chose to buy my home at Creekside At Pinecrest. She is the most polite and caring sales representative I have ever met when it comes to selling anything. Her knowledge and experience in dealing with people and answering all of my questions was second to none. I think she is the biggest influence on why I bought my house.

“The real estate market demands knowledgeable professionals who are dedicated to their customers. Working with Ashton and Chris I am reminded of why these assets are so important. They understand their market and work intensely to bring the needs of buyers and sellers together. From contract to closing Ashton and Chris are diligent with follow-up and pay attention to every detail. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such great agents, and I look forward to working with Ashton and Chris again and again in the future.”
I just wanted to drop you a quick note about one of your Realtors over at Stone Haven Community. We were being fined by our home owner's association about our fence unjustly and needed help resolving the matter. I hesitated contacting Stone Haven because the person who handled our fence approval a year and a half ago is no longer there. However, when I did contact Stone Haven for help, Amy McBride handled our problem professionally and promptly. She did this even though there was nothing in it for her. Even though the problem was solved (home owner's association mistake) it was refeshing to deal with someone who cared. She proptly return my messages and made my wife and I feel like Stone Haven was working hard on our behalf. I didn't want her great work to go unnoticed.

When we began looking for a house we happened upon a neighborhood represented by Peggy Slappey Properties and were impressed with the quality of homes and builders they represented. The whole home buying process can be very intimidating, especially in today's rough market, but we found the people at Peggy Slappey Properties to be honest, intelligent, and genuinely concerned with our needs financially and our needs as a family. This was truly one of the most pleasurable purchasing experiences in my life.
Dear Mrs. Slappey,
On behalf of Duluth Middle School Chorus, I wanted to thank you for helping to make possible our recent fundraiser with the Gwinnett Gladiators. Several of the members had previously attended games with their families and were excited to have the opportunity to combine their love of music with their love of hockey. The children had a good time at the game and were able to spend time together outside of their normal environment, which is always a fun experience. As our children mature it is important that they see the various opportunities of community partnership at work, so that they may become better citizens and understand the importance of developing community relationships. Thank you for setting a tangible example for them, and thank you, again, for helping to make their fund raiser a success.
