Bio

It is my passion to assist people with their real estate needs AND to form life-long friendships. A born and bred Texan, I have lived in Grand Prairie, Texas since 1981 and am actively involved in community and local charitable organizations.  I am an accomplished business woman and entrepreneur whose work and life experiences have broadened my perspective and provided me with vast resources and a keen ability to effectively interact with people of diverse and varied backgrounds.  After 8 years as a Human Resources Manager and 15 years of accounting experience, a partner and I began investing in real estate full-time in 2002.  In 2005, I became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Texas.  The investing background has aided me in working with sellers as I can confidently recommend improvements that may aid in getting a quicker sell for the most profit, the human resources background has enabled me to negotiate successfully, and the accounting background allows me to keep an eye on the bottom line for my clients.

I work as both a residential listing agent and as a buyer's agent, specializing in assisting first time home buyers throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex area.  It is my belief that I can better serve my clients by being well-educated in this field, so I generally schedule at least one course or workshop every month.

Although working as a both a residential listing agent and a buying agent, I specialize in assisting first time home buyers throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex area.  It is my belief that I can better serve my clients by being well-educated in this field, so I usually schedule in at least one course or workshop every month and in September 2006, I was awarded the Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation and in November 2006 the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation.  This now enables me to better assist my sellers in staging their homes in anticipation of a quicker sale and for the most money.  In November 2007, I received the prestigious Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation and in January 2008, the e-PRO designation.  I have also received the MetroTex Sales Training Certification from MetroTex Association of REALTORS.
