I wanted to send a note to express appreciation for the legal assistance I received over the past two-three months. My local law firm...in Los Angeles has an exceptional attorney who exhibited professional interest in, and showed great concern for my case.
In short, a contactor and subcontractor breached a contract and mismanaged the funds on a yard project of mine. In the end they defrauded me out of over $8000, and delivered [only] five percent of the contracted work before they abandoned my job.
[My attorney] sent an excellent letter to each of the parties outlining their responsibility and obligation to me. They ignored the letter, which forced me to take them to small claims court. I not only won a full/complete judgment, but [I also] won a dismissal of a subsequent suit against me by the subcontractor. [He] had been harassing me and threatening me to pay him [for] supposed unpaid billing the contractor neglected to compensate him for.
[My attorney] coached me the whole way through the process (like I said, two-three months of this messy process). She was courteous, patient, and showed a great deal of interest in my case; even expressing her desire to hear [from] me on the final outcome.

We just want to commend (an Attorney from your Law Firm).
We contacted him on a Friday morning, faxed over our real estate purchase contract, he immediately reviewed it and told us that he would put a letter together and mail it certified to appropriate parties requesting the return of our earnest money. Anyhow, on Tuesday, two business days later, we received the cancellation notice from the realtor and, consequently, got back our $5,000 earnest money two days later! The realtor was not happy at all.

Dear Pre-Paid Legal,
While waiting for an overdue monthly check on a second deed of trust that was to include several thousand dollars of principle, I became concerned as to the delay. I phoned the title company that disburses the funds, to be advised that a check for the original amount had been sent the previous day. When asked about the additional funds that were directed to me, I was informed that they had been disbursed to the lien holder, and they would ‘look into it'. I was requiring those funds to close on a new residence within 48 hours. Without that money, we would possibly lose the house, our earnest money, and be left homeless, as our lease was expiring.
The following morning I placed a call to our provider attorney in Phoenix. Within two hours [my provider attorney] returned my call, and after our consultation we had a three-way conference call with the title company. The title company decided it would be in their best interest to place a stop payment on the erroneously sent funds, and have a check ready for me within 24 hours. I picked up the check from the title company less than 24 hours after my call to our provider law firm.
We have used out Pre-Paid Legal services almost 50 times, for various situations over the last two years. You have saved us thousands of dollars and given peace of mind beyond a dollar value. We wouldn't be without it.

I am not sure who I should send this to, but I spoke to (my provider attorney) of the California (Provider firm) about an issue the other day. He was wonderful! He took more time than he needed to, and answered all of my questions plus gave me options (which took more of his time because he was kind enough to explain the pros and cons of each). It was a great experience!
