Approximately 7 years ago, I picked up the local newspaper and began to read about a new project with homesites in Myrtle Beach.  Being an inquiring mind, I called the phone number figuring I would get an answering machine or some kind of sales pitch recording.  Neither of the two happened - I ended up speaking to a southern gentleman who didn't give me sales pitch, but gave me a lot of useful information and advice.  He told me what was happening in the area, and being familiar with Myrtle Beach already, I could definitely envision the changes.  Because of all the exciting stuff that was happening in the area, his enthusiasm was contagious.  So contagious that the following weekend I was on an airplane heading south to get in on all the excitement.
