I came to Southern Litchfield County over 30 years ago for a visit and never left. The beauty of the area is captivating to say the least and it caught me. Selling real estate just made sense, I get to explore and renew my passion for the area each and every day!
When the real estate market took a dive I realized I had to do things a bit differently, so I took to the internet in search of a better way. I have earned an internet marketing designation, and continue to learn better ways to market and sell real estate on a daily basis.
I feel passionate about what I do, it is a privilege to assist a buyer or seller. There really is nothing quite like it. I think I have the best job in the world!
My other passions include photography and farming, you might just find quite a few photos of local cows in my blogs and websites! And of course spending time with family.
I have served as President of the Greater New Milford Board of Realtors for three terms, also Secretary, Director and State Director and served on the Grievence Committee.
Real estate is not just my career, it is very, very personal. I love what I do!

Testimonials for Andrea Swiedler
Let’s face it - selling your house is stressful. Now imagine how stressful it is to be the family member tasked with selling an elderly relative’s house, as the all-important “POWER OF ATTORNEY.” And, to top it off, the elderly relative’s property is a rather unique property, and me, the all-important POWER OF ATTORNEY does not know that part of the state very well, particularly the real estate market. Enter team Andrea, Rich and Liddy. Stress relief! In short, in a manner that was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, committed, understanding, and kind, Andrea and team got the job done.
To anyone in search of a caring and competent Realtor, I am pleased to offer my wholehearted recommendation of Ms. Andrea Swiedler.
When my wife and I decided to sell our New Milford CT residence, we selected Andrea and were extremely satisfied with every facet of her professional services. From her preparation of an initial market analysis through the final sales closing, Andrea was an invaluable resource to hold our hands and guide us through every step in the selling process.
Although we were selling into a distinctively “buyer’s market,” Andrea was able to offer several valuable tips whereby we were able to positively distinguish our property from similar properties on the market at the time. She also provided frequent updates with respect to what was happening in the local real estate market.
In summary, we could not have been more impressed and satisfied with the services we received from Ms. Swiedler.
