Hello all! My name is Brad. I am a community staff member here in Seattle, Wa. for ActiveRain. Much like the agents and Real-Estate professionals I work with every day, I didn't have a strong understanding of what ActiveRain was or how it worked, when I first became a member. With a little perseverance and motivation, I was able to join in on our top notch training classes and was enlightened to a whole new world behind the scenes of what we know as search engines (ie:Google,Bing,Aol,Yahoo,MSN, Ect.) I was your standard online consumer and utilized search engines for the same reasons we all do, I wanted to have access to "all" the answers of the world at my fingertips. Never did I question the relevance of the sources, nor wonder how or why, based on my search criteria the selected sources were offered to me. I now know and must say, I'm completely intrigued by it. I'd be lying if I told you I learned all about the power of SEO and how it could benefit ones business over night. It took me time and plenty of studying up on. That being said, I am so thankful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge on SEO and Social Media's. Not only will ActiveRain provide an opportunity to be part of the largest exclusive social networking community for Real-Estate professionals in the nation but ActiveRain can be utilized as a very powerful business tool. By effectively blogging and using powerful keywords and keyword phrases (we'll TEACH you), our goal is to get you FOUND by the online consumer on the first page of Google or any other major search engine. (95% of all consumers are online) By being found, you will put yourself in a position to capture and convert this traffic into closed transactions. I couldn't be happier to be part of such a great community. Let me help you take the next step in more effectively managing and growing your business.

When I'm not working and assisting agents accomplish their goals on ActiveRain. You can usually find me either on a golf course with my buddies or on the lake soaking up the sun. (The 2 1/2 months of it we get here in Seattle) My family is the most important thing in my life and I am thankful for them every day. I grew up in a very small rural town about 45 minutes outside of Seattle. Post high school, I was offered an athletic scholarship to play baseball at the University of Washington. Having the opportunity to extend my education as well as the ability to play the game I love, has been something I am thankful for every day. To say the least, I'm a die-hard Husky fan. (Go Dawgs)
