Born and raised in Newtown, Ct; retired from the U.S. Postal Service on January 3, 2000 as the Real Estate Manager in Atlanta, Ga. As the manager, I oversaw all real estate activities covering the Southeast Area (Fl, Ga, Tn, Ms, Al plus 14 southern counties in SC). During by career with the Postal Service, I worked in 18 states, east of the Mississippi River. Upon retirement, I did some consulting work for the Postal service developing Site Planning Reports on vacant land for Postal Service-owned facilities as well as counseling Postal Lessors regarding lease negotiations, lease interputation and site locations for new leased construction projects.
After serving four years in the U.S. Navy, I worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 1/2 years, 25 of which involved all phases of commercial real estate as it relates to leasing, property management and site acquisition of properties used for post offices in over 18 states. For 15 years, I was a Contracting Officer with $5 million approval authority. During the last two years, I was a national trainer in the area of contracts and contracting. Over my 25 years in real estate with the Postal Service, I completed over 50 educational training courses and seminars in management, advanced leasing, property management, appraisals, tax evaluation, coaching, mentoring, dealing with the angry public, site selection, site evaluation, R.O.W. takings, and relocation. From 2007 thru the present, I earned by BROKER Associate License and the following designations: GRI, SFR, GREEN.
In 2007, I earned my real estate salesman license and my GRI designation. In 2009, I earned my Broker License and became a Broker associate with Exit Success Realty.
I now specialize in mobile/manufactured homes, land acquisitions, medium priced homes and commercial properties in Brooksville, Fl in Hernando County.
