While going to University of Michigan for Undergrad (Go Blue!) I worked for Vector Marketing Doing direct sales.  A good training program helped me learn the basics of sales and marketing and allowed me to become the number one rep in the company by 2001.  Since then I have started two companies to focus on what I'm passionate about - real estate and building businesses. LB Holdings was initially created to hold rental properties which we had rehabbed.  Over time, LB Holdings has become the front for our wholesaling division as well.  Currently LB Holdings, buys investment properties (usually in quantity) and either sells them to other investors, or fixes them (if needed) and puts them in our rental portfolio. Element is a payment service brokerage that helps small businesses find the best way to accept credit cards and checks.  Element has a variety of online solutions that fit very well with real estate investors.  We have found that on average, we collect our rent payments 14 DAYS SOONER when we have our renters on an automatic billing schedule (where we have an online system automatically deduct from their bank account or charge their credit card).
