Teaching allowed me to hone my listening skills. When you are my client, I will find you a home that meets your needs, not mine! When you are my client, we will work as a team to sell your home, featuring the uniqueness of your home as I communicate to other brokers, agents and potential buyers why they should choose your home over the other ones on the market.

I take pride in knowing the inventory of homes available in the various neighborhoods and I enjoy investigating all the possibilities out there for your home purchase. I also keep abreast of homes for sale by previewing them so I can help us position your home competitively when you list your home for sale with me.

This is my career and I love it. Thinking outside the box for creative ways to market homes, learning and utilizing new technologies like local websites and blogging, to help market your home, and networking with other agents from all brokerages, are ways I feel set me apart from the rest of the pack.

I love Northeast Ohio. First Time Home Buyers and those relocating to Cleveland have a special place in my heart.  It means we are keeping people in the area and helping them buy homes (First Time Home Buyers) or we are receiving new residents to our Lake Erie Shores (relocators).  For this reason, I have specialized in both areas.  I keep abreast of business news, neighborhood redevelopment, new home projects so people can take advantage of tax abatement programs when available. I study market trends in neighborhoods; and I preview as many homes as I possibly can  to learn the inventory; this helps me with buyers when they give me an idea of features they are looking for in a home. It also helps me with consumers who want to list their homes because I can get a better idea of what makes my new listing with them unique, when I preview some of their competition.

Many local governments participate in First Time Home Buyer Incentives, and our Howard Hanna Mortgage Company Finance Manager can work with my First Time buyers to make their buying experience a positive one.  And I love touring neighborhoods with out of town clients trying to determine where to live once they move here.  Ferreting out the right information to help them decide is a specialty of mine. This is also where my listening skills come into play. What is really important to you as an out of town relocator? Shorter commutes? A neighborhood with sidewalks? A suburban area just like the one you are leaving in your home state, so you can feel at home? Whatever they tell me, we back it up with a drive through some possible areas and I am the tour bus leader (minus the microphone) as we get a visual feel of Northeast Ohio.  I love showing it off and helping new residents feel comfortable here. My knowledge of market trends and sales can also be of use to new residents who don't have  any idea of where to live until we ferret out the right places!
