A long term Vermont resident, graduating from Castleton State College with a degree in Business Management, I have over 15 years of sales and management experience. I have earned designations in SFR, ABR, SRES, SRS and currently working on my GRI and CRS designations.
Because of my extensive education commitment and ambition to expand my knowledge of the industry, I am on my second term on the education committee with NVBR. Some of my travels have brought me to New York, Boston and Atlantic City to take classes from some of the best speakers in the country. This gained knowledge has helped me serve my clients better and more efficiently.I have always enjoyed working with people and pride myself on providing exceptional customer service. Ever since the purchase of my first home ten years ago, I have had a fascination with real estate. I want to share that joy and experience with my customers.
I believe that a person should be well rounded and that the best agent to service you is someone who is a relaxed and happy person in all aspects of their life, not just work. In order for you to get to know me better, and to help you decide if you would enjoy working with me, here is some more information that might help us bond ...
Skiing - Skiing is my passion and to me there is no greater feeling than standing at the top of the mountain looking out at the horizon. I can stand there for minutes just taking it all in. Of course, racing down the mountain is fun too.
Bicycling- My other passion. I enjoy long bicycle rides and an average ride for me is 20+ miles. Last spring I participated in my first four day, 220 mile bike tour from South Hero, Vermont to Montreal with Local Motion. What a wonderful experience! On the fourth day I participated in the Tour d' Ile which featured over 30,000 riders touring around Montreal. I would love to do a century ride in the future.
Hiking - Nothing feels better than getting out on the trail and discovering what nature has to offer. I can sit for hours and stare at the waterfalls and rivers in Vermont. One of my favorite hikes was at Stowe Pinnacle in January. The views are breathtaking! Camel's Hump and Mount Mansfield are next on my list.
Kayaking-What an experience kayaking on Lake Champlain! Beautiful yet challenging at the same time. One of my favorites was on the Connecticut River dodging the whirlpools and kayaking on Rangley Lake in Maine.
Jogging -I started jogging a few years ago to stay in shape and have really enjoyed the activity. This was my second year completing the Ripton Road Race and I plan to participate in it again next year. My goal is to finish a half marathon.
Along with these activities, I also enjoy working out at the gym as well as playing tennis and racquetball.
I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for this wonderful state with people moving into the area!
I hope that this profile gives you a good idea of who I am and why you would want to work with me. I look forward to meeting you!
