I am a managing broker, and have a great network of other professionals to help create a smooth real estate transaction for a buyer or seller. I worked for Thurston County Assessor's office for 17 years prior to going into real estate, and the knowledge and contacts I gained there have proven to be very helpful to my real estate clients.
My specialty areas include helping first time home buyers and buyers new to the area, including military. I also work with investors, and clients interested in rehabbing or remodeling homes with a Built Green focus, or buyers interested in purchasing land for a custom home.
Working in partnership with my son, we bring strong community and market knowledge to benefit our buyers, and innovative internet marketing to help our sellers. We want to be your real estate and community resources far beyond the closing of a real estate transaction - we will be here for you!

Living in the Olympia area is a treasure trove of natural beauty, quirky local events and activities. I LOVE being able to introduce newcomers to all this community has to offer!
The annual Procession of the Species captures the flavor of this community with all ages parading in the street with costumes representing different aspects of our natural world - from bumblebees on bikes to jellyfish and zebras! Or you might enjoy the street theater during the twice annual Arts Walk held downtown, featuring local artists and their creations.
The community offers a wealth of theater, artwork, dance, & music with the influence of three local colleges, the state capitol, and a LOT of talented, active residents!
Olympia is at the southern tip of Puget Sound, and has an inviting waterfront boardwalk where you can gaze at boats, enjoy local statues and artwork, relax at some wonderful restaurants, or stroll on down to the local Farmer's Market to stock up on fresh produce, plants and flowers or unique crafts and gift items.
This community has an abundance of parks, including the one below at Capitol Lake, where you can fling a frisbee, jog, walk your dog, or relax on the bench and gaze at the water, the ducks & the Capitol building perched above on a hill.
I love sharing my appreciation for some awesome communities in Thurston County - we are so lucky to have accessible waterfront for all to enjoy, as well as homes that have lake, river, or saltwater frontage or views.
Housing ranges from condos and townhomes to established or brand new subdivisions, urban living or rural acreage properties. And waterfront is plentiful with our saltwater peninsulas, lakes galore and rivers.
Since I can't imagine living anywhere else, it is very rewarding to show newcomers what makes this area special - and to help them find just the perfect home!
