Use this section to write about yourself - don't be shy - Why should a buyer or seller want to work with you? Do you have any certifications and qualifications? What sets you apart from other agents/loan officers?

I have lived in Costa Rica almost nine years, the last six years near Tamarindo, remarried. and have adapted to a slower life of sunshine and beaches. I have completed The Oaks Tamarindo, a high quality gated condominium community with 96 two bedroom two bath units outside Tamarindo. I am adding to my profile instead of changing it from five years ago so that you can see the changes. With sales and repurchases of units, I still own 18 units, live in one, rent 14 long term for six months to three years, rent one unit for short term vacation rentals and have two units held for sale. Because of the real estate downturn that is just ending now in Guanacaste, right now I am helping owners finish up what I consider to be fire sales to a greater or lesser degree, with recent sales at $150,000 and units on the market now at $155,000 to $160,000. The market has picked up with the return of American buyers, and I am working with my architect to reimagine 20 acres of hillside land for a single family addition to The Oaks. I am also back in the market buying property. Five years ago, I wrote the following. I have three business things going on in Costa Rica right now, a 31 acre condo development between Tamarindo and Flamingo with me and 11 workers on site, prices starting at $205,,000, up 50% from a year and a half ago, a 50 acre oceanview lot development near Playa Azul about one hour south, near The Sanctuary resort, and a fledgling real estate sales company, Green Seal Realty, that limits itself to environmentally responsible properties, a niche that is way too small, but hopefully will grow. In the U.S. I was a real estate lawyer, then a banker, then retired, then bored (not necessarily in that order). I love Costa Rica, also like Panama. If you want to have some adventure, this isn't a bad place to be. Or, you can just chill. Pura vida.

Oh yeah. Why Igloolik? I have noticed that a lot of buyers and visitors are coming here from western Canada. No one yet from Igloolik, however, so I thought I'd tap a virgin market. Our billboards says "We Welcome Loonies". Only one politically correct complaint in two years, heheh.

I have lived in Costa Rica almost four years, one place in Tamarindo and another in Escazu. Your menu didn't include Costa Rica, so I chose Igloolik as my web residence.
