I have been in the mortgage industry from the retail perspective and the account executive viewpoint as well.  As an AE reviewing many loan applications and credit reports, I was exposed to the realities of identity theft.  Loans that couldn't close due to false credit history information.  I also realized the need for attorneys from the borrower's end when dealing with this situation.

It was during my stint as an AE that I was introduced to a service that helped everyday people gain access to attorneys that normally only the rich could afford.  Not only could they have access but receive incredible service.  This company also had an identity theft product which is a perfect match when coupled with the legal plan.

I am also a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS) and give talks on identity theft.   Education helps start the culture of awareness which creates habits that help minimize exposure to identity theft.
