I was a Mortgage Banker/Broker (13 yrs), working with First Time Buyers, growing families, retirees and several builders.
The importance of this I think is two fold, 1) I understand how important it is to establish the right relationship with your potential clients, 2) Finding marketing systems that create an on going flow of prospects.
When I was in the mortgage business I built several prospect development systems that provided regular (new) referrals as well as maintaining the relationship with current and past clients for on going, repeat business.
So when it came time to find a niche here in Sussex County three years ago and 3500 miles away from where I am from I drew upon my experience.
