I am applying for the job as your Realtor®, therefore, you are entitled to know a little about the person you are considering.
Panama City Florida is my hometown. I attended Bay County High School and immediately went to the U.S. Navy. After completing boot camp, my assignment was to Great Lakes Illinois to Electrical School.
When discharged I went into sales work which provided me with an opportunity to continue my travels which I had begun in the Navy.
In 1959 I went to work as an Electrician and continued my travels doing electrical work on bridges, traffic signal and street lighting installation.
In 1969 I became a Master Electrician in Tampa Florida and opened my Electrical Contracting Company which I sold in 1980 to sell Mobile Homes in West Palm Beach.
We moved to Brevard County in 1981 to be with my wife's Mother and Father .
I worked as an electrician at the Kennedy Space Center until we took our Church Youth group to the Merritt Island Skating Rink where I proceeded to fall and break my elbow that would not heal therefore I had to find a new line of work.
In October 1985 I became a real estate agent with Compass Points C-21. Over the past 25 years I have taken every training program that I could to become the best real estate agent that I could be. I moved my license back to Pruitt Real Estate in January 2010 and am sorry that I ever left. They are a fantastic company.
My latest training for the past 2 years has been in the distressed property field. I am now a CDPE, which stands for Certified Distressed Property Expert. If you are in a dire financial situation, I am prepared to assist you with Workout Options to help you avoid foreclosure on your home.
I also have earned the designations of ABR-Accredited Buyer Representive, CRS- Certified Residential Specialist, GRI-Graduate Realtor Institute, SRES-Senior Real Estate Specialist. There are others however, these are the best known. In other words, education is very important to me so that I may better serve you.
Thank you for considering Joe Fountain as your Realtor.
