having come up in the world of sales and customer service i have developed a deep deep appreciation for the dedication and skill it takes to be a successful real estate agent.  a good portion of my successes in real estate lie in my ability to maintain a positive working attitude as my environment changes from year to year, month to month, and day to day.  i feel that being a success in this profession embodies more than just the next transaction but more upon relationship building and respect.  real estate can be a very hectic business involving many many different personalities, thoughts, ideals, and goals.  i feel that the most valued responsibility of a realtor is to be able to align all of these in a manner that begets the most success for EVERYONE involved.  it is an honor for me to be able to be involved in so many lives at such an important time in them.  buying and selling homes and businesses usually is one of the more defining moments that people come to in their lives and i take great pride in being able to offer my professional service during this critical time.  Humility and determination in win/win transactions is what i strive to achieve in real estate and keeping an open mind to be able to understand where peoples motivations come from is the key to my success.  I also understand the importance of realtors in our community and what we provide to the community in many ways other than the purchase and sale of a home.  I understand that it is extremely important that, as a realtor, i MUST make the time to involve myself in my profession and community and have done so by taking a position on the Thurston County Board of Realtors.  i also am involved in community service events, have headed fundraiser drives, involve myself in realtor events, will be taking over our rookie program (monthly classes designed to prepare rookie realtors for the real estate profession), have served as RPAC chair and even been graciously presented with various awards from our realtor association.  it is my firm belief that my service in real estate is less about me and more about my given abilities that drive me to make successes for everyone that i can...beyond the closing table and on into life itself.
