Get to know Steve Davis
Carol and Steve began their Real Estate career in Northern California - Red Bluff in Tehama County. Our first purchase was 55 acres of rolling, oak covered hills west of town. We subdivided the land into 4 parcels, selling three and building a 31 X 80 foot house on the remaining parcel. Three more subdivisions in the area and two children later we moved to Pleasant Hill in Conta Costa county near the East Bay.
There we purchased the oldest house in the county - built in 1867. While remodeling the home we found square nails. It had a view of Mount Diablo and the surrounding valley. Our third child was born in Concord.
We then moved to Lodi in San Joaquin county to be near both of our parents. We purchased several homes and opened a Realty World office and hired over 10 Realtors to work with us. We personally bought and sold many homes and developed a Real Estate Investment Club for landlords.
December 31, 2005 our daughter Erica was paralyzed in Lodi and spent almost 2 months in 2006 in hospitals and 10 months in physical therapy. After 3 one week trips to Carlsbad for specific Spinal Cord therapy we decided to move to Carlsbad and have loved living near the beach in a very comfortable climate! Erica has thrived in the San Diego area - participating in over 18 different sports, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, ocean jet ski racing, and now wheelchair dancing.
