Marlene was highly recommended by a friend of a coworker to help us find a rental property. We were in a time restraint as we were relocating to Illinois and needed a realtor that we could trust to be our "eyes" as we would be leasing the property unseen. I was initially leery as not having met Marlene, I was unsure if she would be dedicated enough to find me a place that would meet all our needs. I was blown away by her professional manner, timely response, and most importantly, her detailed explanation of room sizes, color of walls and even window treatments. Marlene sent us numerous listings and we applied for several, however our credit was not the best and we did not get accepted for the one we really wanted. Marlene explained that credit and prior history plays a part in rentals just like in a mortgage loan. I finally did get to meet Marlene when we moved into our beautiful rental and she is everything that anyone would want in a realtor. What I didn't know at the time is how little commission realtors make on rentals and am surprised that she was as dedicated as she was.
