President and CEO of Nan and Company Properties, Nancy Almodovar consistently provides her clients with world-class service. She has been working in residential real estate for fourteen years and holds a reputation for professionalism, innovation and client satisfaction.

Nancy is an alumnus of the University of Houston Bauer College of Business and since then has furthered her business education with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. After seeing a gap in the marketplace for a premier luxury real estate company in Houston, Nancy developed Nan and Company Properties from her kitchen table almost three years ago. She developed a technology-driven firm that services clients buying, selling and leasing luxury properties while presenting sales associates with the support and innovation to succeed. For two years running, Nan and Company Properties has been recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of the “Best Places to Work.”

As a resident of one the most ethnically diverse cities in the nation, Nancy also made sure her firm would serve as a one-stop shop for foreign nationals so that they would never have to worry about feeling uncomfortable in an unfamiliar place.

Nancy is a Certified International Property Specialist and an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. In 2016, she was recognized by the Houston Association of Realtors as one of the Young Professional Network’s 20 Under 40 Rising Stars and as a Top Producer, where she was awarded for demonstrating excellence in sales, leadership and community service. She has also been recognized by the HBJ as one of the Top 25 Realtors of 2016 based on sales volume, as the listing agent for one of HBJ’s Most Expensive Homes Sold in 2016, and as the No. 1 Real Estate Agent in Luxury based on average price of homes sold, her average being at $3 million for 2016.

As a business owner, wife and mother of two, she aspires to be a role model for women through her work ethic and generosity. She volunteers for several organizations such as Houston Children Give Back, the Houston Ballet, St. Anne Catholic School, Learn Grow Lead and the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show. Nancy developed the first Nan Cares Toy Drive, a campaign where she and her team collected toys to donate to Brookline Elementary. She has also participated as a panelist in Table Talks, hosted by the University of Houston’s program for Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies, and in HBJ’s 2017 Mentoring Monday. With the vast amount of success Nancy has reached at such a young age, she is passionate about empowering women to achieve their own goals. She refuses to take “no” for an answer and is always looking for ways to better herself and the community.
