Blogging sets you apart from your competition.
I believe this to be true. However, ask yourself why you are blogging in the first place. If you said lead generation, then give yourself a big smile in the mirror! The only way to fill your pipeline consistently is with CONSISTENT blogging. If you have been blogging successfully, maybe you have seen this situation in your own business. You start out blogging three months in a row, a blog a week. In month four you have more clients than you know what to do with and what happens? You STOP blogging! Why? Because you are too busy to blog.
So for three months, you are closing deals, collecting commissions and loving life. Then picture this, all your deals are closed and there is very little new business. You think, hey my blog brought in a lot of clients, I’d better get back to that. The only problem, with search engine algorithms in constant flux, the only thing that really keeps you on top of the heap is CONSISTENTLY putting informative fresh content on the web. So you are pretty much starting near the bottom of the heap again fighting to get back up in the search engines to be found by prospective clients. Sound familiar? Do you want off this roller coaster?
I have lived this and seen so many of my fellow agents suffer the same fate. My broker would have us complete and submit our business plans for the upcoming year by mid November. Boy I was pumped up and blogged like crazy until mid January. I’ve gotten more homes under contract between November and December than any other time of the year. Come January, I’d usually be in the top five out of 90 agents. And what happens? I stop blogging, because I’m too busy to blog. I know the value, I have the business, but by the time I am done doing all that needs to be to close deals and my blog is the last thing on my mind. Actually, it IS on my mind and I keep telling myself I’ve got to blog and get a little down on myself for not doing it. Come March, my business is in need of a spark. Back to blogging I’d go. Come June, I’d be on fire again. This is one cycle that should NOT be rinsed and repeated.
How do you avoid this? First of all, let me preface with, I believe that for you to be truly successful with blogging, a majority of your blog needs to be done by you. People need to get a sense of you, your personality, your business style and what you bring to the table for them. With that in mind, a blog that brings in consistent business, needs to also be consistent. That’s where I think I can assist you.
My services would lend a hand in your ability to be consistent. By contributing two blogs a month to your current blog, you could expect to see this from your investment:
Annual Bogging Done for You Investment = $3,900 (26 blogs at a $150 per blog)
10x Return on Investment = $39,000
Average Commission = $4,935
235,000 (avg. US sales price) x .03 (commission) x .7 (avg. split) =$4,935
YOU Close 8 More Deals in 12 Months by Being Consistent
8 Deals x $4,935=39,480
Imagine what you would do with those extra commissions. Hawaii, Jamaica, BOTH!! As I said before, my services would be an adjunct to your current blog. People need to know, like and trust you for you to be successful. Your blog, written by you allows that to happen. My blog contributions would be geared towards keeping you ranked in search engines by providing original, educational and informative content. Interested? Intrigued?
