 I am so excited to announce effective August 1, 2013 we will be relocating from Tahlequah to Sallisaw. United Country-Prairie Creek Realty and Auctions is the newest and most eciting real estate company in alll of Sequoyah County. John Wilhite United Country Realty In less than 24 hours the only home that my sister and I had known growing up would soon belong to a bank and no longer to that of our parents. It was devastating to say the least. We had been working night and day trying to come up with a solution on how to save their dream home that they had built over 35 years ago. We kept coming up empty handed. This was turning into a four yearlong nightmare. Our parents had always been extremely hard working individuals having already paid off their home mortgage several years prior. However, the home was now tied onto their land loan, with a payment of several hundred thousand dollars past due. Unfortunate health problems, dropping cattle prices and some discriminatory practices by a particular lending institution gave way to a four-year battle. Their health, finances and standard form of living was plummeting. Just as it looked as though we had no hope, God intervened in a phenomenal way. He showed us extraordinary favor by bringing us the money to keep the home from going into foreclosure. He then brought us another answer to prayer by sending John Wilhite of United Country Prairie Ceek Realty and Auctions our way. We had to sell 700 acres of land within a matter of only a few short months in order to keep the same tragic circumstances from possibly reoccurring, as another large mortgage payment was coming due again. John dove heart first into this challenge giving my parents and our family a genuine sense of security that we would win this battle. My parent’s property was over 90 miles away from John’s office, but he didn’t let that deter him from making several visits to see my parents. He was always available to them reassuring them that he was on top of this challenge and that they were in good hands. Through sheer determination, months of rigorous hard work and many prayers John presented our parents with the amazing news that he had found a buyer for the land! He had seen this challenge through to the end. He took care of every single detail and always kept my parent’s and their well being at the forefront. Cindy and I cannot express how fortunate we were to have John Wilhite of United Country Prairie Creek Realty and Auctions as our agent handling the purchase of our property. It is hard to find anyone who possesses the level of integrity that John displayed throughout the process. The purchase and closing of our land was problematic to say the least, yet John never failed in his professionalism, listening with patience when we expressed our frustration. Had he not displayed these qualities, I doubt that we would have followed through with the purchase. John does not display these qualities simply to be a successful real estate agent, it is simply who he is. Cindy and I both feel blessed to have had the pleasure of working with him and feel that we have made a friend in the process. John did an outstanding job selling our home! He showed a tremendous amount of concern for us as the sellers and was careful to inform us of any changes that were made along the way. John took the worry of selling our home off of us. He stepped in and took an aggressive approach and was able to sell our home within the first couple of weeks of listing it! We appreciate the personal and hands-on approach that he took with the sale of our home, we would not have been able to sale it without him!
