I started my Real Estate career Immediately after graduating from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) with a B.S. in marketing and management, I began helping a successful property investor scout out timber properties to buy, sell and trade. From then on, I was hooked.
I started my career at Hemenway Realty, and within a year, I was at Coldwell Banker where I quickly became a Million Dollar producer. Three years later, I was in the top five of my company where I remained consistently including the subsequent years with RE-MAX.
I opporated as broker-owner of Key Realty Group for 10 years teaching agents my expertise and talent for solving problems and overcoming objections. Next to negotiating, this is the part of the real estate I enjoy the most.
In 2019 I started United Real Estate Properties.

| Kirsten from Key Realty is a friend of mine. I have volunteered with her and always enjoyed working with her. I was even more impressed when she was our buyer's agent to get our dream house; her attention to detail and drive to get what the client wants was impressive and extensive. Simon helped us sell our old house, and I feel like that process went as smooth as it could have gone thanks to his and Kirsten's help. As an added bonus, they are also great with young kids during your meetings with them or others related to the buying/selling of real estate. |

| Simon Smith of Key Realty was highly recommended to me, I was told he was the best of the best in realty. At the first meeting, he listened to what I said I wanted. He asked questions to pin point details, which helped me to think about what I really, realistically wanted in a home. Within a week, he found the perfect home for me, exactly what I wanted. | I would recommend Key Realty when selling a home. Simon (and Deb) were a pleasure to work with. Simon is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the process. | Simon Smith was exactly who we were looking for when we decided to sell our home. We wanted a knowledgeable, straight-forward agent who would tell us what we needed to hear, not what we wanted to hear. It made selling our home a much more efficient and successful experience. After listing at a reasonable price, we received multiple offers quickly and were able to select the best qualified buyer, which ensured we both got the price we wanted and didn't have surprises in closing. You can tell Simon enjoys the marketing and negotiation process, which is great for sellers who don't. His staff made sure we were up to speed during the more tedious periods of the process, and we walked away feeling taken care of. |

| I'd have to Give Simon Smith and Key Realty a 5 star rating. I called Simon to come view my home and discuss listing it. Luckily he had an open window and was over 2 hours later. He evaluated the property and asked when I'd like to market it. My response was "yesterday" It barely phased him. That evening we did the pics, discussed the details and the next day it was listed and a Classy for sale sign in the front planted. Within 3 days we had 4 offers and 4th day my home was pending for a higher than listed offer. It doesn't get any better than that. The follow through and communication was excellent and informative. Thanks guys, highly recommend you! |

| From the first meeting to the last, Simon Smith was up front, direct, and perceptive. I don’t remember ever saying to him that we wanted to sell the house as quickly as possible, but he picked up on that and got the process moving right away. In working quickly for us, he was also deliberate and did a thorough job comparing our property to others in arriving at a price to list the house. He was straight forward about what he determined we needed to do to freshen up the house and make it look even better and he had painters, a landscape company, and, later, a contractor ready to go to do the work we needed before an offer was made and after our property had been inspected. We had offers on our house immediately. It was on the market for a very short period of time and we accepted an offer that was $13,000 dollars over our asking price, thanks to the fact that Simon assertively contacted realtors he knew who had clients who wanted a property like ours and drummed up interest in our home right away. I was very grateful for Key Realty Group’s superb service. |
