Like most in the real estate business, I had a career before real estate. I was a petroleum engineer. I bring that background to real estate. I have been involved in green building, energy star and energy efficiency for years - long before it was mainstream. I have worked with a number of builders to improve the energy efficiency of their homes, and to get them certified Energy Star and Green.
I am a licensed Class 1 Residential Energy Efficiency Rater, and a Green Building Certifying Agent with the Florida Green Building Coalition. Also an e-Pro.
I like to work with buyers and sellers that are interested in building green, and making their homes eco-friendly and energy efficient, and improving indoor air quality. I also enjoy working with builders to improve their building practices, because I feel like I can make more impact. When you help a builder improve his homes, you change every home he builds from that point forward.
