I initially started in real estate as an investor. Once I learned everything I could on real estate investing it only seemed natural to become a Realtor to assist others in the Omaha area with buying and selling real estate. I still actively invest in real estate and own seven investment properties. Buyers and sellers that utilize my services can have great confidence in my ability because I actually put my money on the line. In my opinion, hiring a Realtor that does not invest in real estate is like hiring a stock broker that does not invest in the stock market.
While showing homes to buyers is definitely seen as the more glamorous side of real estate, it is also the easier side of the business. My area of focus is working with sellers. I enjoy the challenges of selling a home - everything from proper pricing and positioning of a home to expanding my marketing and networking with other Realtors.

His approach to selling a home is in the sellers interest rather than just the realtors. He has a comprehensive plan that helps to diminish the unknown outcomes on selling. By doing a preinspection both the buyer and seller already knew what was on the table so the surprises were curbed to prevent contracts falling through and unnecessary costs. I also loved his approach to not reviewing offers for a few days so we had choices rather than jumping at the first one it really let us feel confident that we were not being undercut. Not only did we sell our house we had 4 offers and got more than our asking price. Aside from his great selling approach, he was easy to work with prompt and polite. He always asked if we understood which is nice when dealing with unfamiliar ground. He was open to questions and concerns and returned calls immediately. Although I never talked to his team directly they clearly work hard. Everything from staging with the amazing Joette to photos, flyers, and showings was done for me. They just contacted me for times it was easy. Troy and his team were by far the best decision we made. I will recommend him to anyone with highest regards!
Troy was great to work with to sell our house. He asked lots of questions to ensure he understood what we wanted, and knew the market well. Since we were living out of the area, he worked with our tenant who was still living there to get the house ready and had it professionally staged to ensure it looked at its best. Communication flow was always good with quick turnaround to answer any questions or concerns. His marketing generated lots of immediate interest, and the house sold in less than a week (5 offers!) above our asking price.

When you choose to work with Troy Trumm your not just hiring one of the top real estate agents, you are choosing someone who is passionate in what they do, and is working in their calling. And the team that he surrounds himself with are just as passionate.
We listed with a different agency last fall and they listed at what we want to sell it for, and did not give us a recommendation of where they thought a good starting price should be, and we had to confront them about poor photos and ask them to retake them. We were on the market for 8 weeks, only had 3 showings, and we had to contact them about doing an open house. After reluctantly doing that they told us to lower the price and suggested doing some expensive changes, and wait some more. After that we decided to take it off the market and wait till spring.
When we heard about Troy and his team and the reputation that they have, we decided to give him a call. He came into the initial consultation fully prepared to work for us and get us the best price for our house and do so as quick as possible. His guidance and recommendations on what we needed to work on were top notch, and made a big difference in the presentation of our house. We thought his recommended asking price was a little low, but we were needing to sell fast so we trusted in him. In doing so we got just what we wanted, a fast sale for top dollar. Our house went on the market on a Wednesday and by Sunday (4-5 days later) we had received 10 offers and sold for $10,000 more then our asking price (witch was just shy of what we wanted to sell for)!

Troy Trumm and his team provided excellent service in selling our duplex. Our property sold above our agreed on selling price in less than a week on the market. Troy provided invaluable advice in preparing our property for sale and provided excellent people for staging and providing photographs to market our property. He also referred us to a good pre-inspection service to point out what needed to be addressed and recommended an excellent handyman for some needed repairs and touchup which I'm sure contributed to the sale-ability of our home.
